Recent News (February 2012)

We've been remiss in not sharing the good news... and deeply apologize. Here's what RedBone Press authors have been up to lately:

the bull-jean stories by Sharon Bridgforth was the Sistahs on the Shelf January 2012 pick of the month! Here's an interview she did with them. Ernest Hardy is writing periodically for the Los Angeles Times; here's a few of his most recent articles (including one on Whitney Houston's death, and two on Diana Ross' long-time-coming Grammy Award), plus updates from his Blood Beats blog. Sharon Bridgforth read at @Salon2012 coordinated by Dr. Duriel E. Harris on Feb. 18, 2012 at the McLean County Arts Center in Normal, IL. Marvin K. White read from Our Name Be Witness and gave a writing workshop during Black Gay Pride South Florida, February 22-26, 2012. (Thank you, G. Winston James!) Marvin read alongside up-and-coming writer Sheree Greer (see photo below). The lovely Samiya Bashir was a panelist at AWP, read at the Cave Canem affair, and received the Aquarius Press Legacy Award February 29-March 3, 2012 in Chicago. And Sharon Bridgforth presented, with Dr. Omi Osun Joni L. Jones, an excerpt from her work-in-progress, "River See," at POW WOW in Chicago on March 13, 2012.

Again, we deeply apologize. Please accept.
