Voices Rising heads to Atlanta!


Coming up this weekend: Two signings for Voices Rising: Celebrating 20 Years of Black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Writing.

The first, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, is in conjunction with In the Life Atlanta's Literary Cafe; reading will be Voices Rising contributors Reginald Harris, G. Winston James, Lisa C. Moore and Duncan Teague. Location: Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, Capitol Ballroom North, 165 Courtland St., Atlanta, GA 30303. Atlanta's Outwrite Bookstore will be on hand for book sales.

The second, 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, will be held at Charis Books & More, 1189 Euclid Ave. NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. 404-524-0304. Voices Rising contributors reading are Reginald Harris, G. Winston James, Lisa C. Moore, Duncan Teague, Tim'm T. West and Malik M.L. Williams.
