A Month of Thanks

Forget thanksgiving *day*--it's been a whole month's worth of activity, a month and a half, really, and RedBone Press is so thankful for it all. Thank you to my father, for his continuing encouragement in publishing; thank you to my boo, for having my back. Thank you to the RedBone Press authors, Sharon Bridgforth, Marvin K. White, Samiya Bashir, G. Winston James, Ernest Hardy and Ana-Maurine Lara: without you there would be no RedBone Press. Thank you for your brilliance. You make us all look so good! Thank you to those who've hosted G. Winston James and I on the Spirited tour these past six weeks; you know who you are. Thank you to Judy Gex at LaGuardia Community College and to GALDE for hosting Erzulie's Skirt last week. Thank you to the Charles-Davis household for hosting the Erzulie's Skirt book party Friday last. What beautiful spirits you have! Thank you to Tisa Bryant for making me so comfortable on this last leg of travel in NYC. Thank you to Evil Lucy Radio for being my constant source of delight during six weeks of daily shifting terrain. And thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who bought books for yourself, as gifts, and who are spreading the word about RedBone Press. I am humbled and grateful for your belief in me and my work. Thank you!
